DCI aka DeAngelo/Clark Investments

As I'm sure you all know DCI has some great people working with them over there ( Jessica and Alex) EXCEPT the owner. Mary Annette DeAngelo aka Annette DeAngelo aka MA DeAngelo and last but not least aka MAYRI SOKOVITCH. Yes people, I just figured it out. Mayri Sokovitch is supposively their invoicing manager...WRONG! That is a fake name that DeAngelo made up because she obviously doesn't like to pay her notaries when they are due. If you have worked for this company and still haven't been paid from November or December closings and you call and ask to speak to Mayri Sokovitch, don't be surprised if they tell you that she only works by e-mail or she's not in the office. BEWARE NOTARIES!!!!!!!!!!

Are they still in business?

Surprising.

Annette did not pay me for printing docs on a cancellation way back in 8/04. That was the first and the last job I would do for DCI. At that time, DCI stood for Document Closers, Inc. - website documentclosers.com. Annette has changed the company name twice since then. Hmmmm. From what I understand, some of the Notaries owed fees by Document Closers, Inc. did not get paid when the company changed it's name to DCI=DeAngelo/Clark Investments.

For those of you who did not know, Annette used to be Jamie Jessup's (MortgageNotary.com) ofice manager and when MortgageNotary.com / Jamie Jessup closed his doors owing many Notaries, Annette open her doors in the same location with the same clients.

I agree, Alex was great to work with. Too bad the rest of them are all scammers and thieves.

Re: Are they still in business?

I also got ripped off by DCI. They owe me for a 2/07 signing. I called them several times and tried to email them (email was not "deliverable"Wink but never got an answer about my payment.
They no longer answer calls from me so I know I won't be getting paid!

Re: DCI - They're back

I have take a couple (and I mean a couple) so far from them. Their terms state that they don't pay if cancelled, no pay for docs printed if the loan cancels prior to trip made AND they pay when they get paid...usually 30-45 days post signing.

I am not extending much credit to them & will only take one at a time, waiting for payment before accepting another. The sad part is that I like doing IPT docs -- yes, they're usually late arriving, but they're easy. The LO's *USUALLY* are very straight-forward with the bwr, so there typically aren't any problems at the table. Too bad the company they use to find NSAs.

I do enjoy working with Alex -- he should find another company to work for, because he's too good...
