Difficult Borrower..

I have a signing that is rescheduled from the other night. I have had this BO before. He decided he didin't like the terms after chasing him around. He changed the time three times. I get to his house and he is not there at the schedueld time. So I pull out my handy dandy cell phone and call him. Mr. Borrower where are you? I am at the Carls JR he replies. Ok why don't you just stay there and I will meet you there. Ok see ya in a few he says. I get to the Carls Jr. and no borrower. I take out my well used cell and call him again. Oh I am up the street hang on I will be there in a minute. Ok I say see ya in a few. Finally after playing tag with him I get him set down and show him the docs. This is not what was discusses. Ok calls to the LO the SS and then the Lo again who is not answering of course. No I am not going to sign he says. Ok well you have a good night and hopefully they get everything fixed. A hand shake and I am off.

I get a call last night to resign the loan while I was at the doctors with my daughter. Wanted to sign same docs could I do it tonight? Sure 4 phone calls later I finally get ahold of the BO. "I am too sick could we do this tommorrow? You are coming to my house right? Yes I am I tell him. Ok but can you be here at 7:00? Thats not a problem I say. I then call the Ss and they laugh because this guy was hot to sign the same docs.

My question is Am I setting myself up for yet another no sign with this guy?

Thanks for letting me vent.

I think I need one of those notary badges and super suits. Who do I order one from?

Get your Superwoman costume on and show up, if he is a no show, tell the SS you're done and bill them for your expenses incurred, time, and any print charge, two trips. Some people are just too ridiculous for words!

For Sale: SuperNotary Suits, 49.95 with roller skates

For those whose skin is yet too thin!
Been there, done that. Had one set of borrowers, 3 appointments. 1st, wrong terms, 2nd borrower no-show (LO set up appt and told me wrong day) and finally, #3.
I wore my supernotary suit tfor the last one. Thank goodness I wore my roller skates all week!

I will definitely bill them for what my expenses were. A ten minute trip ended up to be a 30 minute trip. Because he couldn't be at the closest Carls Jr. I will give any borrower my all but please have a little courtesy.

No not thin skinned..

Just aggravated. I would take a yelling borrower anytime. Which I have had a few of. Over this guy who can't make up his mind whether or not he wants to sign. Not that I won't go back out there because he deserves the same courtesy any other borrower deserves.

Have no fear supernotary is here. LOL

Re: I'm not anymore!

You deserve a medal for keeping you cool. After the first time, I probably would have moved on. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice ...........................

That being said, a lot of my decision would depend on what kind of relationship I had with the TC or SS. If it was good, I probably would be up for a second time.

Re: I'm not anymore!

Yeah this isn't a bad company to work for so I don't want to ruin the relationship. Plus the borrower just called and said he needs to do it tommorrow. ARGHHHHHH
