Documents on the Run payment policy.........

Just want to share a portion of an email reply that I had sent to Documents on the Run regarding my payment issue from Nov 3rd. As you see their policy is to not pay until they are paid, so obviously they are under capitalized and just don't care about fair play. So unless you want to take the risk of sloooooooooooow pay or possibly nooooooooo pay, don't take any assignments from them..

Here's the email....

<We still haven't been paid for this job. Once we are, you check will be forthcoming.

If you look on our job order confirmations, down toward the bottom of that page, it states, "We don’t know to pay you until we receive OUR invoice and hold harmless by fax and know that the job was completed. Fees will be disbursed to you upon receipt from our customer. " >

That says it all in a nutshell folks!

FYI, just found out Mysti is leaving Docs on the Run. Not sure why, hopefully she is just moving onto something else. But I will be wary accepting any future jobs from them. She was the one person I could rely on to make sure I would get paid.

I did a signing for them in June...waited about 6 weeks and started calling about payment and was told by Mysti to "stop harassing her" I then called the title company that they were contracted with and was told the invoice was paid to Documents on the Run a week after the signing!!! I then started faxing invoices to no avail. I finally reported them to the Better Business Bureau also to no avail...

Suddenly in December I FINALLY rec'd my check!!!

That is really BS. They don't think about that when they call us to go out at night at the last minute. Ew...I will definitely reconsider working for this group.
