EZEnotary. Registration form fixed

We want to apologize to those signing agents who spent time filling out our notary registration form and received errors. The form has been fixed and we'd like to invite you back. Also, the service fee has also been increased.

Thanks,

Also states on their website "Tight Quality Control: All our signing agents are required to report to their managers as soon as they leave the signing tables. All notarized documents are required to fax in for managerial reviews before shipping."

Hum...a manager?!?!

Re: Looks like $65 one way.....

Hi LaHoma,

Sounds like you are new here. There are various ways you can view messages. If you look at the top of the page you can choose Threaded, Topcs, or Linear. You may find one works better for you by trying them out. Also, there is an orange search button at the top. You can search for keywords, message numbers, a particular user, etc. Welcome to Notary Rotary! Hope this helps.

Re: Looks like $65 one way.....

Well, welcome. You can find a lot of info. by doing a search. Sometimes questions get asked over and over and it can wear people down. Once people know about the search option, it helps eliminate reposts. Good luck!!!

Re: Looks like $65 one way.....

Frankly, LaHoma, I think it's rude of you to come on this board and expect others to hand over their client contact information. If you want to succeed in this biz, you'll need to do what most of us have done. Research and hard work will get you much further than begging and whining. All the information you need to be a "madly" successful SA is out there for you to find. Just don't expect others to do your homework, please.

Re: Looks like $65 one way.....

I think I just made my point very clear after I read LaHoma's post.

Over the intercom:

"Post and grammar check (clean up) are needed on isle 5!!"

Becca is right on with this one.

I didn't want to point out the obvious and come across rude.

Repeat, clean up on isle 5!

Re: Looks like $65 one way.....

Becca get's my vote, too. I don't mind helping those that help themselves, but I do have an issue with those lazy few who think they can come in and take over just because they ask! You want it then get the same way every other good SA did.

To Becca...

Please tell me how LaHoma was being rude. I don't see him/her asking for anything more than what other's ask for on this board. All they asked for was a website address. I do not see anywhere in LaHoma's post that indicate her asking for anyone's client contact list. Since this LaHoma person is new, obviously she is not aware that she can go to the Signing Service tab and get this info on her own free will.

Geez, give the new person a break.

Re: To Becca...Anon

Here's the point:

A. LaHoma can't find the website address when it is posted 2 inches above her writing.
B. She/He can't spell
C. She/He doesn't know the difference between BASIC proper grammar

For these reasons is exactly WHY I personally would never hire someone of this level until they SEARCH and READ on "THEIR" own. I really don't want a closer who is not self-sufficient nor do I want someone who can't answer basic questions to being an SA. There is PLENTY of information on this site and many many others to learn this stuff before posting stupid and obvious questions. I for one am not going to just hand out candy to those who don't deserve it.

When I first started I recv'd my package and was told my first signing (1st and 2nd) was the next day at 3 pm. I read and read AND READ until I made sure I knew what I was doing so I didn't look like an idiot. I did not get one thing wrong. Why? Because I learned on my own.

And Anon, please re-read Becca's post before jumping off the bridge and try to make some sense of it. You must be new too otherwise you wouldn't be asking Becca to give LaHoma a break.

Re: To Becca...Anon

SORRY to burst your little bubbly NM, but NO, I am not new so there goes your little assumption. I've been on this site for almost 8 months, but I am speaking my opinion just as you always do.

I re-read Becca's post and made plenty of sense of it. Alot of posters on this site use incorrect grammar..SO WHAT? Doesn't mean that a person cannot or will not write correctly when they have to. This is just a board and some folk post faster than they think and just don't proof read. I read this site enough to know that when an old timer posts and asks for a website or other information regarding a signing, it's readily given to them. Why is it different for a newbie. Especially if they are new, they are more than likely not aware of the different options right away. Has nothing to do with not being self sufficient necessarily.

Again, I say...give the newbies a break sometimes. I know some newbies do ask for it sometimes with their questions that are basic notary laws and so forth, but sometimes, the person may really not know about the search items, etc on this board.

The VERY FIRST POST in the thread had the guys website listed. DUH!

Maybe not rude, but not very bright. Attention to detail is a HUGE part of being a NSA.

In the spirit of giving...

here's a great link to get you started.

http://www.franchisesolutions.com/index.cfm/fa/adpage/job_id/18488/lsource/4/

We've tried to tell you that it's not easy starting out and it will take a lot of hard work and some capital. However, the guy with the web site above has figured out a way to get newbies off to a running start. Just be sure to bend over and cough when you write the check.

That my dear, is the best advice that I can give you.

Bryan, do you have any funds saved in case you don't get paid by your clients? Are you prepared to deal with notaries that make mistakes constantly?

Because only paying $65 is going to get you a great deal of errors and if you can't afford to pay your notaries any higher than that, I would give up while you're ahead. Don't mean to be rude but just being honest.

Sure is, IF you don't travel more then 25 miles RT and the standard for e-docs is $25 not $15

so the fee is fine under 25 miles....if i go more than 25 miles i can charge a little more? and do you think i should raise the fee for e-docs?
