Elite Signing Services - Chicago, IL Area

If any of you have been stiffed by Elite Signing Services, the former owner is Rich Barry. His phone number is 815-479-9505 and his address is 4815 Strong Rd Crystal Lake, IL 60014. He owes me $100 from last spring; I don't really ever expect to see the money, but at least I have a phone number and address for him so I can keep trying.

In case anyone's interested, there is a potential class action lawsuit against this individual. If you're one of the many notaries or attorneys who did work for this company and weren't paid, contact David Clements at 650 544 8468.

Hi Sharon,

Are you in Illinois??? Never work for him but I did do a signing for Signatures Plus. Never, ever work for them again. First of all you are underpaid and she never returns telephone calls. I've still have not gotten paid from a signing done in October, 2005....

Amazingly I did get paid for a signing last year, but, only after calling the poor girl that used to answer the phone every day. She used to be near tears and I am sure I wasn't the only one calling.

Hi. I'm in the Twin Cities (Minnesota), but this Elite Signing operated in Illinois before this Richard Barry drove the company out of business.

I do know about Signatures Plus...very bad news. Everytime they called me to do a signing, they promised they'd revamped their accounting system and I'd get paid, so I reluctantly agreed to do another signing for them. And then the same thing happened -- it took months and months to get a lousy $50 payment out of them. Now whenever they call, I'm "already booked." I don't know how they stay in business, but I'm sure not going to work for them again.

Don't tell 'em you-re booked.....tell 'em the truth..that their payment record is poop on the notary message boards.

I've ceased doing the "booked" deal and have started letting them have it with the truth.

The worst I've gotten is "Oh, " and a hang up.

THEY NEED TO HEAR THE MESSAGE AND THE MORE NOTARIES THAT SAY IT THE BETTER.

there is another Elite, I think out of Colorado, 816 area code anyway, I have done numerous signings for them and they pay well and on time. I think I'd change my name if I were them!
