Express Closing

Anyone ever work with Express Closing out of MN? They seem to have offices in Minnesota, Missouri, Wiscon, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Michgan.

Just curious how they are to work with, if the loans are decent or always a problem and how they are with pay.

They also claim to "train/certify" signing agents, as they do not recognize any certifications other then their own training/cert. (Isn't that odd??)

I've worked with Express Closings off and on over the past couple of years.

Nice to work with.

Decent pay.

Timely pay

Never a problem with them. I'd take all I can get.

decent pay? maybe $75 for ND matches

the value of service but not when you get that for printing the package also and it's an hour each direction! You can have it.
$75? maybe if it's sitting in the TC office doing them back to back with at least 6/day and I just sign and stamp, otherwise you go backwards when expenses are figured in.

they're the bottom of the barrel.

Haven't worked for them myself, but what I've heard has not been good. Low fees and full of themselves comes to mind. I also recall hearing that they do not acknowledge certifications/training obtained outside of their company. I guess that fits in the "full of themselves" catagory.

who said anything about $75?

you did...not me

Try doubling that figure and you'd still be low.

I've done loans for these folks for 3 years.

Never a problem.

And, I'm not certified by them.

I was told that

they said they are the original creators of the "mobile notary"

and in MN they consider their metro area a 10 county area & their fee for that is $75 (with printing included) - keep in mind that everyone else including the news stations and 90% of the state consider the metro area as "7 county metro". They add 3 extra counties and think $75 for the one furthest is as fair as the closest.
They want to pay you $75 AND ask you to give them the names of companies you work with because if you bring them business they will give you a referral fee.

So, you might print the docs, drive up to 90(+) miles one way for $75 and then give them your other sources of income (which might be TC that pay you $150 a signing) but they promise to give you a referral fee...........hmmmmmmmm, no thank you , no thank you, no thank you!

but that's just what I was told. I won't work with them. Not for those terms. And anyone who does is an idiot.
