Gmail - A Google approach to email.

Gmail is an experiment in a new kind of webmail, built on the idea that you should never have to delete mail and you should always be able to find the message you want. http://www.gmail.com

Re: Gmail

I use gmail because it doesn't have a megabyte restriction. I have a VERY large mail box. I love it

Re: Gmail

I've recently converted because of size of document packages. I have my website email but I forward some things but when I forwarded it to an aol account, it would not be delivered (but never a message saying undelivereable) but then it would show up 4 days later. Like it was too fat and couldn't get through the door or something and just popped free.

If anyone wants one it is by invite only but I will send you an invite if you want. Give me your email.
TIP:
REMEMBER....put XXXXXXX or something in the middle of the email so that when people are sending spiders through message boards to collect emails of posters, yours wont work for that, but someone who should be getting your email knows.

Are Gmail accounts generally viewed as unprofessional like

yahoo? I have one, but hesitate to use it for business for that reason. BUT, the size is good for e-docs so maybe I should.

Re: Are Gmail accounts generally viewed as unprofessional li

I know of a reputable settlement service that uses Gmail accounts. I have a few myself, mostly personal, but two backup email accounts in case our mail server has problems.

Re: Are Gmail accounts generally viewed as unprofessional li

No, it's for general mail service. There is web mail (view, compose, respond, etc. online) as well as POP3/SMTP using an email client like Outlook.

Re: Gmail

I've been using it for six or seven months and really like it. Handy to have a search feature, labels (instead of boxes), junk filter and lots of other features. And it's compatible with my PDA in a text-only format.
