Give yourself a good profile, include your state abreviation in your name, read messages on this board, listen well, observe well, market well and try to have fun but make money will doing it, don't sell yourself short. Good luck

I would advise that you turn your caps lock key off when posting on this (or any other) message board.

1. Tell everyone what state you in. 2. Know your states notary laws inside and out. 3. Go into the archives of Notary Rotary and read EVERYTHING from beginning to end. 4. If you still have questions after doing all this, then post it....
Best of luck to you... just hope you didn't fall victom to the NNA's promise to make $100K a year. NNA is not all they're cracked up to be.

First thing, get your profile done, it's like a short resume. Secondly, read 33325....and most importantly know your state laws backward and forward! Good Luck

Spend lots of time marketing yourself! Sign up with a minimum of 300 signing services. I, too, hope you didn't fall for the NNA hype/lies about this business! Hate to burst the bubble, but it's gonna be a looonnnggg time, if ever, before you make 100K. Make sure you have a good laser printer, pay attention to instructions from various companies, it's rare that any 2 want it done exactly the same way. Develope a TOUGH skin. You will be working with a variety of personalities, you can be insulted, yelled at, have things thrown at you and be treated as if you are a total moran that has to have thier hand help through the whole process by SOME SS. Read through this board! TONS of good advice here along with a variety of real life experiences. Even as a beginner, you should not accept any 50.00 signings! Do not lowball the other notaries in your area! Keep it competitive! I wish you the best of luck in getting started!
