Is it my fault that........
a ss won't/can't pay me for a signing in November because they claim they haven't been paid yet by the title company? I think it's bull____, but neverthelss it's my money no matter how small.

Personally, I think it's crap. If they cannot afford to pay you in case the tc doesn't pay them that's tough s&*^ for them. They shouldn't be in the business if they have to wait around for payment before paying you or they need to select better clients who will pay! November? File with a collection agency. These companies that pay more than 30 days are a joke! And 30 days is PLENTY of time to pay people.

Definitely my opinion, too. There shouldn't be anyone paying that far after a signing. Whether they have been paid or not shouldn't be your problem. These companies should have operating money for just such gaps.

No, it is not your fault. The signing service should have paid you long ago, whether they get paid or not. I hired a signging agent to do a signing in November. She received her check within a week. I still have not been paid by the title company, but that is between me and the title company nothing to do with the signing agent - which is why she has already been paid.
