Low fees

WOW, what is going on. I just turned down 3 jobs since they were the $50 jobs and $75 for edocs? Now I feel like I just cut off my nose to spite my face. They are companies that never called before and I am hoping my "usuals" still pay what they have been paying me all along but they have been pretty quiet these past few weeks. This is so frustrating!

Re: Low fees/Bonne

Just stick to your guns Bonnie. I've had only 1 call for a low fee of $85 (edocs), but some of my regulars have been calling me this past 2 weeks and stated business has been very slow for them as well. It appears as everyone on this board has pointed out, that January is just a slow month.

Don't get frustrated. February will probably be a better month for you and all of us!

Re: Low fees/Bonne

...and if you (all of us) stick to our guns on our cost they will have to realize that we WILL NOT go any lower. they need to realize we have to make a living too and we have expenses as well...i mean they are not going to have someone remodel their home for less, after all if they do, they will have lousy work done! no subcontractor is going to do big heavy nefty work for pennies. It cost for materials and it cost for labor. Edocs or not...it still cost to drive, etc....
