My signing this morning ...

I met with BO downtown at his job. He didn't say more than 10 words throughout the signing. I do have to admit that because of this silence on his part, the signing was completed in no time flat. Because I'm uncomfortble with the silent signings, I was chit-chatting, basically to hear myself talk, I guess, because I was getting no response from BO.

The signing was complete and I was reviewing the docs and BO said something to me in a soft, but gruff voice, if that is possible. He works in a bottled water plant with several conveyors in a very loud working environment and I *thought* he asked me if I wanted a bottle of water, so I said "yes, thank you" figuing I could take it with me. He gave me this stare that teenagers give when they are appalled at something their parents say or do -- he repeated what he had said "Do they want my blood too?"

I still think a bottle of water would have been nice!

Carolyn...that's too funny!...

Sounds like something I'd do! LOL! I wonder what he actually thought when you answered "Yes..."

Carolyn, the funny part is that they really do want his blood, too. :-D
