Re: Re:Did you tell them to pound salt? nm
I sent them quotes from the AZ Notary rules which, of course, shows the requirements for acknowledging a document which require the doc to be listed in the journal, signer to be present, prove his/her identity and sign the notary journal all of which could not be done when proviing blank, signed, notarized Gen. Acks!!
I got my full fees and recently they contacted me to sign up with them after finding my name on Notary Rotary. I declined. When they called I went through all of this and told them that was the reason I would not do any other signings for them unless they deleted that requirement. I told them that I'm a full time CNSA and they responded saying that 60% of their notaries are full time and none have a problem sending the GA's. That's hard for me to believe.
I would hope that notaries that do work for this company refuse to break the rules governing acknowlegments in order to get an assignment.

I've done 10 or so signings for them and never have been required to send additional acknowledgements, "blank, stamped or signed".
I hadn't heard from them in 2 months, untill today. They "could not meet my usual fee" because it was a HELOC. Took it anyway, its' only 3 miles from my home. They are very prompt about paying.
