New Notary Agent

Hi, I just became a Notary, and am preparing to become a Certified Notary Signing Agent. I am quite nervous when I go to do my first loan signing. Is there any advice for what I need to do?

Re: New Notary Agent/ Also read MSG #33325

It is a good way to get started. Just click on the orange search tab at the top of the page and type in that msg number.

if you a notary you have to do more to do loan signings? you have to be a Certified Signing Agent? is this like another class and test you have to take? I thought you can do signings for title companies, mortgage companies, once you become a notary?

In most states there are no laws saying that you have to do one thing, or another to be certified.

What research have you done so far? Start "Googling" right here:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=how+to+become+a+notary+signing+agent

Type in "certified" into the search on this site and see what you can learn.
Type in "classes" into the search and see what you can learn.

If you post your state, you might get more assistance.
