I'm in Leesburg, Loudoun County. I was just wondering. I'm getting ready to move to Charles Town WV, so I was going to get my commission there as well, but found out that it's an attorney only state. Darn those Attorneys!!!! Although, I have found out that there are some notaries there who don't work for one and they are doing it on thier own. HHHmmm....

I wouldn't risk jail time or a fine. They may do the same as most of us in MD. I have several title companies that will have the borrower travel from DE (an attorney only state) to MD. I will complete the closing.

Yeah, I know. As soon as I get my TPL in Maryland, I can pick up more signings. I already have a Maryland company that wants to use me as soon as I get it. Sooo...we'll see how things go. Although the move does put me in a position to do closings in another part of VA that I didn't cover before so hopefully I can get some buz that way as well.

Traci - where on eastern shore?

My sister lives in Centrville and my niece (who does title searches) lives in Easton.

Kim did the signing for the original fee offered, which

was not 50.00. If you don't agree with our fees, that is fine. But don't come on here and talk about them if you have already accepted the signing.

That is just cheesy. Thanks Kim. I really appreciate your professionalism.

Just in case you come back to see if anyone replied to your message.

After reading all the threads involving the notaries and you Notary Biz, I find you to be the most unprofessional of all. I do not see other SS's coming to this board and doing a search just to respond (unprofessionally) to every post past or present. Any good business professional would not feel the need too. jmo,
