Notary Nonsense

I have the second half of a split tonight and just received the docs from the first Notary over on the west coast of Florida. I was not all that surprised to see that ALL of his Notarizations were completed incorrectly, but I am mad as hell that he had the nerve to bill me for the FedEx shipment.

Here we are not even two weeks into the new year and I've already met my Idiot quota for the entire year. I've delt with way too many idiots lately and I just don't have the patience for them.

Wow Becca... I certainly understand how you feel! I really wish the NNA would stop churning out the ads "you can make alot of money"! I had to re-do a closing that a newbie had done 2 weeks ago. Mistakes? That was only the beginning! The bo's told me the newbie spent over 3 hours going over EVERY piece of paper!
I've been giving it serious thought if I should call him up and tell him to high-tail it out of my area. I'm just waiting for more calls to go fix his errors.

What nerve (and a complete idiot) to bill you! I frequently work at a title company at the end of the month and help out with processing the incoming mailaways. I was shocked the first time I opened them and only had 1 package out of 10-12 that was done correctly! The others were a complete mess. One brilliant notary actually copied her OWN driver's license to send back with the package when the notary instructions asked for copies of i.d. I got a chuckle out of that one!

Maybe it was an accident? It's very easy to goof up if he was using fedex.com. FedEx will usually rebill it if you request them to do so. It has happened to me (my bad, too).
