OT Carl's Jr's Ad

I just have to ask if anyone else out there has seen their ad for (Mike Shakes) !

Coming from a dairy farm background I just Shutter everytime the guy doing the ad Shakes that old Holstein then stands behind her and starts shaking !! All I can think "He has as death wish!" Anyone who knows cattle , or horses for that matter knows that's a great way to get their brains kicked-out. Even if you know the animal "Please don't try that at home" lol

Re: OT Carl's Jr's Ad: Good morning Teddog!!

You are so right Teddog! Years ago when I used to have registered black angus on my ranch I used to feed supplemental hay in the winter because the forage would freeze. One day I was opening the gate and driving through and trying to get the cattle to move as they milled around my truck. I am still not sure what happened but one of the animals obviously didn't like having the truck there and kicked up. I had to replace the front grill and the radiator because it was kicked right through. Any large animal has the capacity for inflicting great bodily harm to our soft bodies.

Re: OT Carl's Jr's Ad: Good morning Teddog!!

I used to help a friend out, back in High School, with feeding her horse when her family went on vacations. I always loved horses, but this one was so mean. At night, when I would try to put his jacket on, he would try to stomp on me. I would take my mom with me in case I got knocked out or something. I called the animal tainer, a contact name and number my firend gave me for when she was away, and they said that my friend had me feeding the horse too much oats and such. That in the winter time I should cut back on the oats and feed him more hay. The trainer also said to not try and put the blanket on the horse anymore. This helped, but the horse still bucked my friend off...and broke her arm. He also backed another horse up in to the fence and that horse had a heart attack and died. I am now afraid of big animals and since they can sense it, I try to stay away.

Wow! Could I tell you stories about Kicking, biting critters. I still have part of a hoof print on the inside of my leg from years ago. Between horses, cows and geese that just love to attack it's a wonder I'm still in one piece. lol Where's the Horse Whisperer when you need him???

I have a feeling that cow was heavily sedated.

IK havew a standardbred that thinks she is a watchhorse. She tries to bite everyone new she meets! What I don't get is that I tell everyone "She Bites!" They walk up to her and say "What a nice horse" as they reach out to pet her and she takes a chunk out of them.
