OT- The Snowball!!!

I was thinking about how "things" snowball, soooo thought I would start another threadie thing.

Today purchased a new microwave-thought to myself "that clothes dryer HAS got to GO" so I bought a new dryer. HUM!! Driving home with my Loyal Poochie, I thought HUM!! that darn microwave takes up to much space on the counter. Got home hopped online and ordered a microwave cart (Can you see where this going!) Now I ask you! where is this going to end? What's next , a room addition? just need a wee bit more room. Perhaps a bigger home would be in order? HUMMM! Let this be a lesson to you all! lol

Have a good evening!

While you're buying, I could use a few things.

That's the story of my life Teddy!

Have you considered a greenhouse extension for your kitchen and then you cold make sure that you had an appliance garage for your microwave. Since you are tearing out your kitchen have you considered granite counter tops, I love my granite, but then I built my house. Home Depot ( my home away from home) is having a sale on major appliances. I just re-did my kitchen in my home in Mission Viejo and it started just like that. It was a rental, and when my daughter went to college down there, the place came available and so I moved my daughter in. It started out with me just doing a little cleaning for the kid. Yeah right, It progressed to the floor because the floor looked worn, new hardwood, the kitchen appliances were older so I went with a new stainless steel built-in microwave. The microwave looked so nice that it made the range look ratty, well a new stainless steel range fixed that but then the sink and refirgerator looked bad. Off to Home Depot, new stainless Sub Zero fridge, new sink, well I had to have a dishwasher because it was the only thing that didn't match, and then I couldn't set the new sink in the old counter top. Granite was the answer. Refinished the cabinets and kept on going with the flooring into the rest of the house. Well you get the picture.

Been there...done that. Started with an amish man making a custom cuboard for my farmhouse kitchen. Ended up redoing the whole kitchen...with appliances. Then the dryer died...so I reasoned the washer wasn't far behind...bought a set. The amish cupboard now houses my computer.
I did barter with him though. One of the things he was interested in was computer cd's (!). He got 1500 free minutes of free aol cd in the mail and not knowing what else to do with it, he hung it in his garden to scare away the critters. It spins, it flashes, it works!

Oh, we love those snowballs!
Last Spring we went to Lowes for a few flats of flowers...wound up with $110. in flowers, a river birch tree and retainer wall blocks to start a front yard project...Lowes was our hang-out every Saturday morning for more block.

Then, a few months ago, we went to look for a new car for me as my '92 Camry was starting to become scary, being a northern car...(with all the driving I do now) Lo and behold we both came home with new cars!

I know that feeling. We are redoing our kitchen. Started with tile then went to cabinets and counter tops then to tiling the backsplash to doing the flooring in the rest of the house. We already have our list ready for our bedroom.

LoL. Forgot to add that we are changing the set up of the cabinets as well. We don't like the current set up so we are taking away from some areas and adding to others. I am just waiting for my hubby to find his Ship wheel so he can cut a hole in the wall between the living room and kitchen so he can use it to serve drinks.
