OT ...carlton sheets

I've seen his ads a hundred times. Anyone with first hand knowledge of his program?
Just curious.

TIA

Isn't this the guy who sells an expensive program which basically is just a "how to" on flipping properties? I haven't seen the infomercial in a while, but I think this is the same guy.

I bought the program, sound good but I have enough on my plate. As long as you have good credit, go for it. I personally think that it may be too late to use this idea, housing prices have increased and the houses that are left for pennies, are not worth the time to fix up.
I believe that "flipping" is illegal is some states.

My ex got into this about 20 years ago, the original versions of this, and I must say it's still the same garbage. You don't need to pay for a "kit" to tell you this stuff. Google it all for free. But beware. Some states won't allow the recommended practices. At the time I lived in LA and my ex found that everything suggested in the program was not legal in LA. The bottom line was it ended up being nothing more than another get rich quick scheme for the seller of the program.

speaking of carlton sheets

I was at a signing the other night and the husband borrower was asking me all these questions, and I kept saying I don't know, I'm not allowed to answer your questions. He started talking about Carlton sheets. I don't know anything about carlton sheets. He then started telling me about my "shortcomings". Because I wouldn't answer all his questions. It's funny some people just want to start fights.

I picked up the program from a rummage sale a few yrs ago. I was an active realtor at the time and had more than my share of lower income buyers trying to work that program. Many paid out money they really couldn't afford.Inevitably they qualified for a rural developement type loan with "fixer upper"loans. Its cheaper to take a real estate salesperson class just for the information.... and read books like the "Rich dad Poor Dad" series. If you really want to understand wealth read "the Richest Man in Babylon" and "the Millionaire Next Door" .
By the time most of these programs like Carlton's get marketed, the ride is pretty much over or its gone generic. They are making more money telling you about it than doing it. You do better researching yourself (Google) (Amazon) and thinking things thru.
