Out of State Notarizing

Just a general question to you veterans. When adding a jurat or acknowledgement attachment since the documents are for a out of state purchase do you cross out the notarial wording on the documents? I know you cross out the venue and write "see attachment" but how about the notarial wording. Thanks again for everyones help.

You may use the ack wording included on out-of-state docs if it is not certifying the capacity of the signer. Refer to Civil code 1189 item C in your Handbook. The CA Handbook can be downloaded and printed from http://www.ss.ca.gov/business/notary/notary_2005hdbk.pdf

I don't either Sarah, whether out-of-state language, or just language that doesn't satisfy CA requirements.
