Paper size - FYI

I was doing a search and ran accross a thread on this subject. I record legal documents (deeds, contract docs, releases, etc) in Missouri and Arkansas on a regular basis. Both states now require 8 1/2 X 11 paper. We have had to conform all of our forms to this standard. There is a penality of $25. 00 for any non-conforming document. In Texas, we can still record the legal size paper.

Most of you probably already know this. Hope it helps someone out there.

It sure seemed like several years ago Texas said it had to be letter sized. Maybe it was just the local county clerk trying to cut back on paper.

Maybe so, we work with Galveston County. Thanks for the response.
