Payment issues
The large amount of non payment issues or late payment issues posted below are scary. What scares me most is not the ss's but non pay issues from title cos.

No one said that Title Stream was a non-pay company -- you just need to be aware that they don't pay *before* 45 days

Title Stream does pay. And pays fairly and well. You just get to call and say hi! I never turn them down.

I closed about 20 refis for Title Stream last year and thay paid a little slow, but they always paid after a phone call. I found them to be very nice people to work with.

Re: Payment issues..My personal experience with Kensington
Title is that they don't pay. Owes me $200. from 11/7/05. I have made phone calls, even to the bookkeeper. Only once have I spoken with him on a call back but he never resolved the matter, nor called and said "check is in the mail". Numerous emails unanswered also. So....I say they are a deadbeat company and will say that until they pay (just as Countrywide is that took 5 months to pay me). HOWEVER, others have had good experiences with being paid in a timely manner so it all depends on who and where you are I suppose. If a title/mortgage company has problems meeting payroll to anyone before 60+ days I think there is a problem.
