Recommendation where to purchase notary stamp
Need to order a new notary stamp--not satisfied with the one I ordered from NNA. Any recommendations? Thanks.

In my state, they regulate who can sell notary stamps, locally and nationally. My SOS gives me a list of acceptable stamp makers.
My next stamp will be ordered through Notary Rotary - my commission is due to be renewed. I am looking for a small one, as opposed to the huge one I have now. In CA, I have a choice between blue and black ink. My current one is so bright blue, it annoys me, so the next one will be black.
I'll post back after I receive NR's stamp, but I hear they are good. Hope that helps.

This statement is not true for Calif.
Any notarized document "must contain the imprint of the seal in a clear, photographically reproducible manner."
For instance you can use red ink as just one of many colored inks that can be used.
Most of us notaries in Calif stick to black but if you want to make a statement about yourself there are other ink colors that can be used, just make sure the ink is "photographically reproducible."

I Like the Mark3 That American Notary Group Sells
I'm not an NNA fan, but I used to like their self-inking seals. Call Abraham at American Notary Group, www.AmericanNotary.com or (323) 349-0860. Great guy, fast service and stands behind his products.

Hello Shirley,
Notary Rotary sells them. Go up to the Notary Supplies tab at the top of the page and click.
Enter your state, and then go into the online store. Ultimark is a great stamp. It prints very clear and crisp each and every time. I use this brand for my notary seal (2), Jurat stamp and acknowledgement stamp. Never any problems. You can also get the extra ink, I have stamped hundreds of docs and still have not had to re-ink.
