SIGN ON THE X. NON PAYMENT

Hi all,

I wanted to share this below listed post with everyone. I've had my issues with sign on the x and non payment and I found this quite interesting. It's also been mentioned to me that SIGN ON THE X has a remote office located within Lending Tree Settlement Services ... therefore should the need arise in which you need to collect payment try calling Terri Probist at 866-633-5877 ext 6555.

IF ANYONE COULD RESPOND BACK SHARING THEIR EXPERIENCE REGARDING PAYMENT ISSUES WITH SIGN ON THE X THAT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! - I've been called by them to do a signing and I'm a bit leary - thus the anon posting! THANX
(See text below)

Not only do they not pay according to their payment process, when you call them about your money for work you have performed, their accounting department is no friendly at all and they act as though you've done something wrong.

I believe their primary client is Quick Loan Funding. If you are having problems getting your invoice paid, contact Maurice Khraich, e-mail address: [e-mail address] Let him know how Sign on the "X" has been not paying their notaries.

We turned down several signings in the past week from them because they have not paid our invoice for October.

Go to search and type in SOX. You will get an eye full.

A lot of people have this company on their no no list. I for one have them on mine, eventhough I have never worked for them. I will give some companies a chance, but with the number of posts here, I don't even want to open that can of worms. Have you found anything the the BBB about them? Good luck with finding resolve to your payment issue.

p.s. - Do you know how the search feature works on this board?

If they have an A, people aren't doing their job by contacting the BBB. Ouch!!!

You would think they would have an F----.

I agree...unless there is something lower than an F. The other thing about the BBB is they do give good contact info. about an given co. So if you are not getting answers, you can sometimes go to the main CEO or such. This is a nice option to have if it is available.

That is why I posted it. So those who are having trouble extracting their money from these unscrupulous individuals, will have an avenue to attempt to recoup their losses. I see negative SOX postings on GMN & 123 as well.

This is one I have on my "NO WAY" list.

Looking at the BBB page on them, it seems to all be input from "customers".

I wonder if any of this input is from vendors.

IF it isn't, that would account for the reason the rating is so high, maybe the "customer" complaints don't warrant a lower rate.

SIGN ON THE X's lousy reputation has been on this board for over two years now and people are STILL being suckered in by them. You would think that even the NNA newbies would now about SOX by now.

Lawrence,

You would think so wouldn't you? Of course the NNA is not going to advise newbies that there are companies out there that do not pay.

Keep in mind that the BBB is funded by it's members. If it is too hard on a member they may stop being a member. I would take any BBB ranking with a grain of salt.

I cannot believe people are still doing business with SOX. I've never been ripped off by them, their reps got them a 1st place spot on my no no list.

I know I am going to get an earful for this comment. I may have just been extremely lucky but I actually received payment from them. Strange yes?? I did the closing in November, they said I would have a check cut 1st week in January, this actually happened. Now I did call to make sure that I would be getting my check. I was also keeping my fingers crossed because I didnt catch the name of the company as my kids were shouting when they called and I accepted the closing.

I had a LO call me at 7:00 tonight needing a signing done tonight of course. Simple refi, 2 signers 40 miles RT....No problem, e-docs arrive. I call to comfirm with the Bo and then call LO to tell her she can go home now..... She says that she had never had to contact a SA before as she always uses SOX. I inforned her that they did not call me and that if they had of I would have said no. I have never been contacted/contracted by SOX, but their rep is enough for me to have them at the top of my No Way list.
