So upset I could cry....

Let me start by saying that I have been blessed with a very busy January so far. Today is the 19th and I have done 15 signings this month (and I only work as an SA part time). I really don't have anything to complain about, but I am still very upset....

I just turned down an assignment from one of my FAVORITE title companies for a first and second edocs 5 miles from my house for $325. Why did I turn this one down.... BECAUSE I AM SCHEDULED TO GET A #$@%&* ROOT CANAL TODAY.......

I would have canceled my appointment with the doctor to take the signing if I didn't have this shooting pain in my mouth all the time.

The worst part is, the TC was willing to push back the appointment time until later tonight to accomadate me. I thanked them but said "I wooden be abl to tawk berry gud wif my mouf all num frub da nobakain"

---I know, I know.... shut-up and quit your whining Jersey_boy!

Good luck with the root canal. I've never had one, but my husband did a couple of years ago. The pain never subsided and after about 6 months, they were forced to do a second root canal on the same tooth. I guess it's a rare situation to have to go back in.

Had I known my last signing last nite was going to turn out the way it did, I'd have opted for that root canal.

Re: That 1 am thing

My husband had the 1 am experience last year. ALL WEEKEND long! He would get up and --get this-- hold a shot of Jack in his mouth until the pain numbed. Did this several times. Swore it helped.

What am I missing here?

I had a root canal that was totally painless. Dentist had to drill through a crown to do it, and by the time I got home, the Novacaine was worn off and I had absolutely no pain during or after the procedure. Gotta love my dentist (even if I've made his last 3 BMW payments)

Re: What am I missing here?

I had 2 root canals at the same time about 3 years ago. After all the pain I was in, the root canal was a breeze.

15 signings just this month??? I haven't had one!

PA_Notary_II

You didn't have any pain after the procedure because the nerve was removed (root canal) they remove the nerve in the tooth.
Most of us, unfortunately wait until our teeth are Killing us before we go to the dentist. Not Good! By that time the poor old tooth is abscessed and the nerve has to go! Then you get the crown, at least that's been my experience. Talk about paying for BMW's and their kid's college education! lol I think we picked the wrong Profession. lol
