Tax question
I am beginning to start my taxes and have been reviewing some information for turbotax. I came accross the following question:
Describe Your Business Enter a brief description of your principal business or profession. example:
-retail grocery store -consulting, financial -construction, plumbing
How would this business be described? Since I work under attorneys, could I put 'legal, financial'?
TIA

Thats the problem with Turb Tax or any of the self prepare programs. If you answer a question incorrectly your info could be put on the wrong form and really screw you up. Of course if you know where your info is supposed to be on the different forms it is not a problem to review and correct.

In Turbo Tax, look at the Schedule C (Profit or Loss From Business) You can click on the "Principal Business Codes" and get a list of all the different descriptions

BP/WV profile
You have a typo in your profile. Experience is spelled wrong. Just wanted to let you know so you can adjust it.

A suggestion on profiles
Its a good idea to update your profile every month. If you have nothing new to add just hit the "update/submit button."
This update keeps your profile fresh and lets signing/title companies know you are still active in your business!
