The Complete Guide to Your Real Estate Closing: ...
... Answers to All Your Questions - From Opening Escrow, to Negotiating Fees, to Signing the Closing Papers
by Sandy Gadow
I came across this title today at Sandy Gadow's site. I did a search here and didn't find any references to it. It might not interest those of you who have been doing this for a long time, but for someone like me who is new to the profession, it looks like a good book to own. Here's a link to amazon.com where you can read about it:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0071400354/103-8158388-1307009?n=283155
Here is a line from one of the editorial reviews:
"First simple guide to understanding the real estate closing process. Explains closing documents and paperwork."
I'd like to learn as much as I can. And if it can explain things in simple terms, all the better. Anyway, I just wanted to pass this information on to anyone who might be interested.
Good luck.

Leon, You think like I do. I had a pretty good mortgage, title and legal background, but I like to KNOW where I am and what I am doing. I did not read this one, but I did read a couple of books I borrowed from a real estate agent. Someone else has said they took a real estate finance course. Good work!

PS - I am thrift store book buyer...checking into the piles of books there often revealed some good ones.
