The Playground - Missy
By you're clear and obvious fascination with this Playground, you yourself are the very thing you accuse us of.
You admit to observing - you read this board ("Playground") all the time, yet are not a participant. "my name is Missy Anderson" I think you're looking for a bit of notoriety yourself, you just couldn't find a constructive way to get it. So, like a child that misbehaves to get attention, here you are. Its sad to me - you write well and are clearly very observant, so I'd guess you're smart. I bet you could, if you didn't have this wierd "bend", contribute alot to the Playground.
"I just wanted to make a point about some of you that are on here all the time"
Kiddo, if YOU were not here all the time, you wouldn't know that.
"Some of yuo still spend all your time here making believe you have important lives. There are still those that are clingy in there agreement of everything others say"
Here's the nice part - what I say here does matter to some and I like it that. It makes me feel good to help and I love the friends I've made here on the Playground. If I'm ever 'clingy in my agreement' with anyone, it's because I respect them. That makes me feel good too. Besides, it's part of the rules of the Playground.
"because you didn't like the way things went on the playground" Missy, the Playground can be fun. A lot of fun, and educational and interesting and friendly and ridiculous and rude and insulting and thought-provoking and....a lot of fun.
You're welcome to join us in the Playground, just take a chance, change your style a bit and contribute something. I promise you'll feel better for it. You can Play too.

Nice offer but I doubt she'll take it
Your "playground" analogy is excellent. Missy is a bright precocious child who was probably spoiled but has very poorly developed socialization and therefore craves constant attention. Since Missy can't get instant recognition on this Playground because she comes here with nothing of value the only way to get the recognition she craves is to be disruptive. Being disruptive gives her entheogenic feelings and provides the only possible bit of power in her otherwise barren existence. Just as a mischievous child Missy is using the only possible device she can to get the attention she so desperately desires. I feel sincerely sorry for her but since in this playground we are all adults and have to be responsible for our own actions the only way to deal with Missy is to marginalize her until she either leaves or conforms. Re: Nice offer but I doubt she'll take it
Charles, It wasn't TitleGal that used the playground analogy first. It was "Missy" herself. See the "Hello" post further down.
I agree with you that the poster craves to be disruptive. I also don't think "Missy" is a female. I think that was to throw us off. It's probably a male "in disguise". Whoever it is, he/she/it is having a ball inciting a riot here each time he/she/it posts.

And like all "kids" that require attention
she/he is getting it each and every time a reply is posted. Don't help her/him, boredom will set in and she/he will find another place to "play".

Re: Nice offer but I doubt she'll take it
Hi Betsy,
Regardless of the gender the personality disorder is the same. She/he can't incite a riot if no one takes the bait!! Not taking the bait is what marginalizing is all about. If she/he becomes irrelevant thsi entitiy will leave for better forage.

Betsy, it just shows how much attention I paid to Missy!
Not only did I miss the "playground" statement but I automatically ascribed the analolgy to TitleGal because I didn't consider MA to be capable of such. Regardles of whether its male or female this entity is totally irrelevant to this forum. People need to stop feeding its craving.

TitleGalCA -- you sound wise and kind. As a new NSA, I would love to have a mentor like you. What part of CA are you in?

That was hysterical! So MA speaks another language AND sings - see I just knew she/he had some redeeming qualities. I just wish I understood the song.
(reminded me of the two chinese students!)

Melissa! Thanks...bless you - thought I was going crazy
That catchy little tune is...catchy. I can feel myself rockin out and doing arm pumps just like the video cam guy.
I have to say though; the translation doesn't help in understanding the gig.
Mai - ya - he....Mai - ya - ha....Mai - ya - ha ha..... I'm groovin to the rhythm....this is cool....dancing in my chair like a rock star....Mai-ya he, Mai-ya ha, Mai-ha ha.....
It's stuck in my head like "It's a Small World" in Disneyland.

laugh (once we get past "the finger", but they had this guy on the Today show from what I remember.
I'm with you though, gotta watch football!!!! I'm a diehard football fan. Wish the season was about 2 months longer to get through ALL of the winter. You and I sound very much alike like that. And can I so relate on the spagetti sauce. How old is your son (from your photo?

Re: TCMN...
Thanks, that was taken a year ago when he was 14. I've also got two girls in college, a 9 yr old stepson and a 4 yr old daughter, the eldest one studying to be a vet and the other just started and changes her mind once a month on her major. Between the both of them, I'm keeping Clairol in business.
If you love football, join our annual pool next year! Seventh season. Della and Roger played this year. We have about 12 regulars, always looking for more, We go up to the playoffs. First place at the end gets a prize, my hubby won this year. It wasn't always pretty around here ! ok, back to the games...GO Giants
PS....I know what you mean when the season ends. I have to do my 12 step program, very painful.

Charm, there is something about watching a kid lipsync-ing (sp?) that draws in notaries like flies to cowpies. Those that have a sense of humor, anyhow.
Thank you for sharing the ridiculous with the ridiculous.

I don't know what came over me lol. I was thinking of posting one of my humorless jokes for MrMissy'seyesonly. Then, when I read the last blathering on Saturday, I remembered this video and thought hmmm...this reminds me so much of KH, another with no life, or maybe the same? I think putting a face to a name in ridicule was why everyone giggled. I have to admit I got a charge in posting that!
