Today's funny....

Got a call, refi 1st, edocs, 300 miles one way, including going over 3 mountain passes, said they couldn't find anyone closer, asked what the charge would be, quoted $600.00, they got silent, then stated that was kinda steep wasn't it? Asked what they thought would be fair, and they replied they were thinking along the lines of 150.00.... ROFLMAO!!!!! Wonder who took it?

Imagine that you missed a signature or an initial, you will have to go back another 600 miles?
I dont travel that far for no money.

After the 150 quote I didn't bother to ask! LOL! My luck it would be a no sign! For that kind of distance I would have to insist, prior to going that they would agree to pay even for a no sign!

Also depends on what you drive, it'd take atleast 2 tank of gas ($70+) for an average 20mpg car.

I'd have to take my 4wd for that area, it only gets about 20mpg! My regular car gets 32, but it's rear wheel drive and useless on snowy roads!

This was for one of the big expensive ski resorts too. After the call I checked to see how much the hotel would have run, cheapest available was $135/night.

on the other hand Bonnie, I quoted $400. for my county, waiting for the caller to laugh, he just said oh ok and we ended the call, I'm thinking it's faster this way than saying..."no, I don't want to work for youever again in this lifetime , please remove me from your database.....
