Re: I just saw an earlier post. Still wanted to know of any info
I received a phone call from a Tony Bardi. I asked him where he was from he answered " Right now I am in Miami". He wanted me to log on to his website ( which I haven't) and fax him the application.
I speak with an accent so I didn't mind his but I didn't like how he explained things to me: "first loan officer, banker, or lender will contact me and tell me he needs a notary then I am going to call 3 notaries in that area that will do signings for $50-75 ( + $25 edocs), then if I don't find anyone I'll have to call you and pay you what you want"
Maybe I am just too suspicious but when he said " of course we will pay you full fee if loan does not close" without hesitation he reminded me of a sales person willing to say anything to get the sale.
I too would like to know more info on this SS. His are code is 305 is that Miami?

I don't know if it is Miami or not but it is in Florida. I went to the website and found plenty of errors (spelling and grammer) I'm not that great with either of those but if I had a web-site I would at least proof read it before putting it out there. Those kind of mistakes seem unprofessional to me. Email me and I will send you a copy of his email you will see what I mean right away. Beverly

Did you read his contract? He wants the NSA to "Call or e-mail us with the status at every single step of the assignment." Then there's all the fax backs.
Also he wants copies of your driver's license, proof of insurance and social security card, among other normal things.
Sounds like a high-maintenance startup to me.

Re: I just saw an earlier post. Still wanted to know of any
The TopSigning.com email I received today after the phone call:
**Our main Office is in Pembroke Pines Florida and our headquarter is in South America, this is why we have reduced our operation costs, so we are capable of paying the best rates to our notaries. We require you to give us the same information as every other signing agency.**
++-This is the second request I have received from them in a week.
++-I was very polite but I told the caller that I had no interest in receiving calls for the amount offered as $50 to $75, nor would I answer calls/make calls at every point in the process to report the status. I quoted my minimum as $100 and that I would not fax back any documents to them -- I was trying to discourage them.
They wanted to go ahead and have me on file "in case they could not find someone for $50 and wished to pay $100" for a signing.
Sure...why not...it was a relentless lady on the phone with a thick accent. You have to figure that these folks don't realize that sounds like it does to the one they are calling.
Thanks to these posts I will not put my time into reviewing the contracts, etc.

Website is managed by a company in Peru:
Registrant: JS TELEPROCESOS SAC Av. Iquitos 681 La Victoria, Lima 511 PE 6194444x6194444 Fax:6194444
However, the IP address resolves to Jericho, NY:
OrgName: Webair Internet Development Inc OrgID: WAIR Address: 333 Jericho Tpke Address: Suite 200 City: Jericho StateProv: NY PostalCode: 11753 Country: US
Just shows you how international an internet site can really be.

Trade Secret! :)
I'll send you a confidentiality statement form and when you return it, I'll tell you the secret. (j/k)
To find out about websites, registrations, etc. use a WhoIs lookup. The one I use is http://www.WhoIs.sc./ You simply add the domain name (sans www) after the "sc/". For example: http://www.whois.sc/notaryrotary.com will show you information about this site.

They are in South America, the Miami address they provide is only a PO box. If they call you for a signing, ask them to give you references of notaries they have worked with and who their clients are. You will see that they give you the run around. They dont have any clients to give to you that they have been working with as they probably don't have any! Their website has typos everywhere and the few people that are there can hardly speak English and are hard to understand. It's hard enough dealing with getting paid by companies that are in the US, imagine trying to collect from a company in S. America where there are NO LAWS to protect you! Too many weird concerns about them....I would stay far away from them. The reason they are calling notaries and telling them whatever they have to is to create a database of notary to rip off!!
