We SAs are truly becoming a Free Enterprise

I’ve received sign-up packages from several NEW Signing Agencies. Here are some highlights from their contracts!

We are looking to hire a Notary Public/ Signing Agent in your area to cover your home county for us exclusively. We will choose only one Signing Agent per county.

****We pay a Flat-Fee of $50 per closing conducted inside the county of your home or office –No mileage fee will be paid-
·We do not pay cancellation fees.
·You are required to carry E & O Insurance to do closings for us.
·You may be required to receive a loan package by e-mail. Your local Kinko, Office Depot, Staples, Etc can receive emails and will print out the closing package for you and make your second copy.

(Now I know you will all want their contact information, especially those who live in humongous sized counties.) And yet another…read on…

***Your responsibilities will include traveling to the borrower’s home or office and witnessing and acknowledging the borrower’s signature on all closing documents for a fee of $45.00.

Wow,that sounds like the company that called me...

yesterday to do a loan signing an hour from me and edocs for $50.00..I said NO..
The guy said " well our company feels that this fee is more than fair". We feel that you don't have to do much work for the easy money...Let's see if I have this right.. 38 miles 1 way, 250 pages of edocs and you also want me to fax back 25 pages of docs(long distance-no less)..All for $50.00. I told him no way and to have a nice day. He said that if you do this for me, I will give you all of my business in Brevard county..I told him no thank you...Some of these companies act like we are in business to help them stay in business...Not me no way..

I used to live in Brevard county. Satellite beach PAFB. I sure do miss it.
b.
PS I believe that is the longest county in Florida? 84 miles long. Just an FYI.

Jimmy...

Did you tell him Brevard County was 72 miles long north to south and covers 1,018 square miles? Geez, the nerve of these dirt bags.
