business cards

I would like to get some feedback from any notaries that work from home.
Do you list your address on your business cards ?

Thanks for your time

Regards,

Lorelee

No... not me...

I use the space where my address would appear to list my services.

Thank You !

I did the exact same thing !!! and someone brought to my attention that my address should definetly be on the cards, whether I work from home or not.

I really appreciate your input.

Regards

Correction...

I have two different business cards. One with my address which I send to out of state title companies, lenders and signing services. The business cards without the address are the ones I distribute locally.

No address on mine, I put all other contact info. I am mobile and I don't want people showing up at my door for notary services.

I do. I also have a sign above my mailbox that reads "Notary Public - 24 Hours".

I do not put them on mine. My hubby forbade me too. He said it is a safety issue he said. So I put phone numbers and my email.

I think I like Maggie's idea for two sets of cards. One with address/one without. So there's my nugget of wisdom for the day. Smiley

Re: business cards >>> For those of you who are ...

reluctant to put your home address on your business card, you might consider renting a p.o. box or a box at your local mail boxes, etc. You can then list that address and your p.o. box as the suite number. I find that some Realtors do that.

On mine I list the city and state and put "Serving the High Desert Communities".

Re: business cards >>> For those of you who are ...

I have a PO Box on my business cards.

I did a signing a couple of months ago for a lawyer who asked for one of my cards at the beginning of the signing. He told me he needed my home address "just in case", as he specialized in real estate fraud cases. He absolutely didn't like that I wouldn't give it to him and kept pushing. After about the 5th time of me saying "that is the address I use for my business" he gave up.

I wasn't really concerned that he was going to do anything with my home address, it was just none of his business where I lived.

off subject, but your profile here is like a business card. You should fill it out and make it look as professional as you can. SS's and TC's shop here for notaries and if they see a blank profile, they will pass.

Do all of you "no address" notaries have unlisted phone...

numbers? If you're in the phone book and your name is spelled correctly on your business card, it's not hard to find where you live.

Try getting a PO Box as your business address.
