Advice

I get a call from a SS, edocs...find out today that docs are in transit to my home and I would only need to print about 5 pages....Here's the kicker...they want to reduce my fee b/c I would only need to print 5 pages...Tried to explain that pages still need to get printed and was not told fees were being reduced...

Advice anyone....

do you have a confirmation from them already with a fee? (you mentioned the docs were in transit to your home...does that mean via FedEx or edocs? (just confused)....i would not agree to reduce MY fees until I see for myself that there ARE only 5 docs to print....

I would have been disappointed but would agree to the reduced fee since I was now only asked to print five pages. Unless you already printed out a huge doc package, I don't see how you can charge the higher fee which included edocs. JMO.

The package came FedEx. I received an email with a PDF of 22 pages....I called them back and explained the PDF was 22 pages, not 5 and I could not accept the assignment with out the printing fees. All said and done received a new confirmation with the printing fees included....

Thanks all.

I agree 22 pages is a big difference from the original 5 pages, especially since you probably printed out 44 pages (with copies for the borrower). But a full print fee would be a bit much. Again, JMO.

The add'l 'fee' is the 'fibbers fee'... for saying 5 and it's really 22. Glad you stuck to your guns.
Your fees are YOUR FEES... period.
