EOM & FOM

My business seems to be bassackwards from everybody else's. I seldom have an EOM rush, but the first week in the month is always quite heavy. I must have had eight calls today. Two were for well-paying signings Friday night that I had to turn down because I have a date with that delectable 85-lb 4'11" nurse. I'm hoping I can capture her smile in my handkerchief, take it home, and put it in the refrigerator. That way I can take it out each morning, unwrap it, and it will help me forget that there are people in this world such as TitleGal and SaraBeth to whom horribly burned and maimed children are "political s**t."

Despite the bump in the interest rate, things seem to be holding up. May and June were the best two months I have ever had back-to-back. And that is despite the fact that, having reached the point where any further growth in the business would begin to interfere with naptime, I have ceased any marketing effort at all.

I wish I could have a slow month for a change( NOT). I am getting more and more clients as the years go on HUgh just none in your area. I have anew one that is giving me plenty of work all over the USA.

I almost thought

that you might have something to contribute, other than the "I'm so great, don't you wish you were me". Well I don't. If you had spent any real time here you would know that I just relocated across country and am getting my home together before getting my business going again. So it doesn't impress me one bit that you made a red cent in your business on any night. I haven't made Jack Diddly and I'm just fine with it.

You truely couldn't have made a real contribution. You had to figure out a way to make another jabing insult. Give it a rest Hugh.

SaraBeth says:

>>You had to figure out a way to make another jabing insult.<<

SaraBeth, I don't know the origin of this post. If you thought I was responding to you and any lack of business, that's not the case. It would be quite crude, almost unforgivable, to gloat over such a matter. It was a general post, responding, if anything, to one here in the past day or so that bemoaned slow business. I have no idea who posted that. I just find it strange that the EOM rush that everyone else apparently contends with doesn't occur with me.

Hugh this was the insult by you

***That way I can take it out each morning, unwrap it, and it will help me forget that there are people in this world such as TitleGal and SaraBeth to whom horribly burned and maimed children are "political s**t."***

You most definately responded to me, I am not an idiot. The point I made was that you haven't been around in a while and the first contribution you made was a jab at politics and religion. The second post was the post on your success and this jab. Come on Hugh you are better than that.

Yeah, And Adolf Hitler hugged children too

It's all about the spin you put on it. Your post was successful - it created all that emotional distress for everyone. Congratulations Hugh.

And I'm happy to be lumped in a group of "people in this world" like SarahBeth.

Business has picked up again. My guess is people locking in before the rates go up. I had to turn down work from Tony because we went away on vacation last week.

It has been non stop since June 26th, that is great compared to last year. We had 1 appointment from 7/1 - 7/15 last year, this year 20 on the books by 7/8.

You seem incredibly proud of yourself.

Remind me, what does the bible say about pride?
