Fee Advice

I showed up at the lobby of the Double Tree Hotel this afternoon and Notarized a double double on two Florida properties (4 loans). The borrower had already signed everything except the Notarized docs. I left an invoice for $400. Is that to low?

Were they for the Bay Tower condo at ~$1Mil each? I've done 4 of those in the last 6 months.

No, not here in Florida. I do many deals for the "snow birds." I get 'em in the winter, you get'em in the summer.

I just talked with my Grandma in the San Diego Hills. She tells me she had to turn on the fan the other night...it was so hot. Shoot, I've not turned off my air since I returned from Reno in May. I do miss the wonderful weather in San Diego.

Spent my Summers in Spring Valley until I was 12. Grandma moved to Ramona when I was 13. Back then, Ramona had just one flashing light. Now, I don't know how many lights they have. Last time I was there was 2/04 and there were stop lights everywhere.

I love my new home in the south. You could not pay me to go back to the hustle, bustle and traffic. Leaving California was the best move I've ever made.
