Finally finished my website..feedback appreciated

Many thanks to Scott at NotaryWebsites.com for his hardwork and patience with my paleolithic understanding of technology and my snail-like pace of getting it done. I highly reccomend his company and thank those that reccommended him to me (Kelly, etc). All feedback sincerely appreciated!! Oh yeah, duh, find it here @ www.brookethenotary.com

Very professional and nice!

It appears that you have to double-click on your links to your other pages. A single click would be better IMO. Also, under your picture on the home page you are missing the "y" on "specialty".

Like your site.

Re: Brooke!

Thanks both of you..I truly need some feedback. Hard to know when the fine lines of "professional" and "geeky" are being crossed!

Re: Brooke!

Very nice and what a great picture! Will you tell me about your experience in creating it. I'm really curious to know what's involved. You say you are not a computer geek, but you did such a fine job. I'm wondering if this is something that I could do being techie impaired.

Becca- Scott made it easy for me-

I chose a basic template from NotaryWebsites.com first. I typed out each page on Word and sent it to him. I sent him the info I wanted on each column. I had my picture taken by a prof. photographer, put on CD (all 0f 35 dollars, thank you, Carlos). Sent that to Scott, and told him the colors I wanted for each portion. He worked with me to tell me how to do stuff I didn't understand, and Voila! a website is born! Thanks for your feedback. It just took me forever to get to it, being full time in this biz and all the other stuff that life sends you. If I can do it, so can you! Good luck!

Nice Brooke, clearly a lot of effort went into this, I like the format easy to read....only on thing bothers me and I hate to mention it because I might sound negative but you did ask for opinions right? I remember once not long ago someone did this and she ask for opinions and once someone posted an opinion, that was I guess not to her liking she got upset, accused others of being jealous. Let me first say I wish I had a website but I don't. I have no clue how to put one together and unwilling to take the time at this point to learn. I'm not a jealous sort of person......I guess my comment would be I'd like to see colors that flow softly together....just my 2 cents. Again not intended to be critical.....JMHO... And again I'm not sure if a website is supposed to have colors that flow together softly maybe that's only for interior design.

Brooke,
Your website is very professional looking. I had my website created by Scott @ notarywebsites.com, as well, and I am very pleased with his work.

Are you a sole proprietor? I ask because everything is "we" or "our". Do you work with a partner?

Royal We"I consider myself Queen of all I Notarize. LOL. Seriously, yes I am a sole proprietor at this point, but I am planning for the future. Do you think that that is not apropriate?

I love your website. Very informative with lots of your competitors links there to choose from.

Being the queen of all you notarize is a sound professional way to run your business. Companies tend to hire strong individuals to carry their paper. Individuals that are "Queenly" confident of their abilities to handle whatever is asked of them. However when you say we or our you cease to be perceived the confident Queen and start to sound like the other Notary Finder links on your Home page. I would hire you based on your photo alone. But is that the type of Mobile call you are seeking. Anytime mobile services may require "we".

Delete the notary links page

Why the heck would you want to direct visitors to notary directories?

Rest looks great.

One of best.

It's very nice and clear. You might consider

putting your phone number on the first page - maybe in the blank space in the orange under your picture and text. On my screen I have to scroll down to see the call me suggestion but if it were over on the right, I could see it and just dial. Also, I would make the telephone number a little bigger on the contact page.

Nice job from Scott.

Nice site, but ...

In your notary links, you have listed the Notary/Signing Agent ring with a simple link to the database host. Unfortunately, webrings need to have the HTML code that was provided to you, inserted into your webpage in order for it to work. If you need some assistance with that, feel free to contact me.
