Firma Solutions
Hello! Has anyone ever worked for this company? This is a new company to me and I can't find anything on them.

I just did my first one for them in early June, they met my fee and paid in just under 30 days.

I did an edoc signing for them on 7/14/06. I still haven't received payment. When I finally got a response yesterday to my payment inquiry, I was told that the escrow file was still active, so no payment would be sent yet. I was then told that they would pay a "trip-fee" if it ends up cancelling. This was the first I had heard of a reduced fee from them. So I'm now starting the game of trying to get paid by a seemingly unscrupulous company. Good luck to anyone else working for them.

I did a closing for Firma Signing Solutions and it took 90 days to receive payment of which they told me twice that the check was in the mail and must have been lost. THEN to add insult to injury the agreed upon fee showing on my confirmation sheet was $135 and they sent $85 because they decided not to pay for the "rush" signing. Be careful of signing companies that do not pay within 30 days as they receive their money after the loan funds. I would NEVER work for Firma Signing again.

That's ok, because we would never use Carol Birkey again because she is a dishonest notary. After she accepted the signing for 85 dollars, she upped the price by an additional 50.00 hours later when we called her to verify the signing time. Obviously it was too late to have another notary do the signing. She said on the phone "well if you want to try and find another notary this late go ahead, if not you need to increase my fee" We always pay notaries within the 30 days, just not the ones that try to screw us! Thanks Carol!

I just have to chime here. I have been trying to get paid for a 12/1/2006 closing!
Today I sent a demand letter that includes late fee and interest for starters. This after multiple attempts to get paid by Steve Austin in accounting. As a business owner myself, I will not put up with SA that contract for services and refuse to pay.

Hi,
I find it interesting that you state that you always pay in 30 days, yet I took an appointment for Firma Signings on 10-20-08 and I have yet to receive payments. I have left multiple phone messages, and emails trying to reach someone and no one responds.
Please contact me if you plan on sending payment.

Did any of you get paid, EVER, or had to write it off. I think we need to stick with reputable companies, or demand prepayment. We are out everything, and they are out a phone call. We make them look good, and they stab us in the back. Supplies, gas and time are not cheap!! I have requested 5 times and over 4 months now. When I questioned them about bad reports.. here was his answer " If a notary or notaries are complaining on there its because they didn't do their job correctly missed signatures etc. We have been around for 7 years and it is impossible not to have any complaints from notaries some of them are total unreasonable"
