My very first call as a signer I was asked for an after hour, print borrowers copies all edocs and bring a camera and take three digital photos of the property. For a whopping $55.00 Complete. Without saying I told them I had another appointment. I was trained to never say no, just that I am not available.

i just did a signing for them.... cw.... with 6 faxbacks; and a split pkg deal. they said they only paid invoices once a month and that i had to mail it; they dont accept emailed ones or faxes. anyone else had this?

they did meet my fee, though. and it was much more than 55. or 85.

will meet your fee if they have no other choice. I haven't heard from them for three months, so there's bound to be a newbie around here working for peanuts. When they do call me, they are prepared to pay.

I did about 20 closings for them in March and April and all of them paid my standard fees. As of May 1, they dropped their fees back down. I get the feeling they let the newbies make tons of mistakes before they write them off. Don't get used to them paying well, they go through cycles.

You only should never say no if it's a company that you're trying to get to call you again in the future. A company who offers what this one offered to you should be told to go f*** themselves. What on earth do you have to lose if they never call you again?
