Help with HP 1320 printer

Let me begin by saying that I am technology-challenged!

I am in the middle of printing documents for a signing in two hours. By mistake, I deleted my HP 1320 in the printer section of the control panel, when I meant to delete the print job.

I cannot find my setup CD. What do I do? Go to an HP website and download the printer driver?

Don't laugh at my lack of computer tech ability!

IF you cycle your computer off and on again, it should try to install a new printer, if your computer is set up for plug-and-play.

The driver should already be on your computer, even though you removed the hardware.

If what John says doesn't work, download the software from http://h20180.www2.hp.com/apps/Lookup?h_lang=en&h_cc=us&cc=us&h_page=hpcom&lang=en&h_client=S-A-R163-1&h_pagetype=s-002&h_query=1320

Be sure you select the correct model.

Also, you may not have deleted the printer...

just the shortcut or icon (fingers crossed). Go to start, then search, and enter the printer name to see if you can find it again. Then you can just drag it back to the desktop or control panel. You might also be able to system restore and return your computer to a prior state before you deleted it. Go to start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.

Re: Lynn don't feel bad, I had to scramble at one last

Minute myself yesterday and only have myself to blame. Let me attempt to make the excuse of it's hot, I'm cranky, tired and whatever! I get a call Monday a.m. for a 1st and 2nd within miles of home, ss and I'm very impressed with pay offer. They have never used me before, can't find them in search on NR but she sounded so organized. I accept the offer. Signing is supposed to be Monday night 7 p.m. my thinking, great plenty of time for printing, etc., etc., etc.
I'm kind of anal with be organized. I attempt to touch base with borrowers and according to work folks, they are on vacation, I request an additional number from signing service, get it, call the borrowers cell and yes they are coming home from vacation and Tuesday 7 p.m. will be a better signing time. Ok good works for me too. In the meantime I get another call from someone else for a signing Monday night, folks already have the docs, great, just go sign. Done
Tuesday now I send a reminder or two about when may I expect docs, well stupid me neglects to read the work order thoroughly and the docs have been ready, oh geeh since Monday, again dumb me. It's hot, it feels hotter then any other day so far, I'm in the office, remember this is a 1st and 2nd, lets just roughly round it off to 400 sheets at least....... I basically have not been very organized as it turns out today. I begin to print first set of 1st, first set comes out perfectly, during second set of 1st, printer jams....ok no bigger, unjam then it won't print.
I'm beginning to stress, sweating from the head up like crazy.....
I can't figure it out, won't print, and now I can't even get the docs up again. I'm losing it and I call for support at dynamicdocs...they are great, can you advise I'm running out of time....
They say nothing is wrong at our end, docs are in we see no issues, they are very calming.....I'm losing it but remain calm to support team, don't want to show my true side.
She asks, could it be your printer, I say NO, I'm certain it's not the printer.
She says let me ask my coworker, she comes back on, she says print a page any page not the docs, I say ok. I try to print, nothing. I said oh my god it's the printer, I needed a new ink cartridge, changed printed everything with time to spare.
But let me just insert in the middle of this dilemma, my stomach was upset and I was making too many trips to the bathroom, rising my stress level of course.
Now I get to the borrowers, I have only about a 100 stairs to climb, the borrowers looks over the top deck and I say hello, do you have an access road or is this the only way up? If it is, I'll be dead by the time I get there or have a heart attack one or the other.......In the end, sweet young couple......and another wonderful signing......no thanks to me, however. Always keep extra paper and ink......Thanks goodness I do....in fact time to order more....
