I can't beleive cheap notaries

Yesterday I had a call to do an edoc. Said yes and asked about the fee they said $ 60.00. I said no my fee is xxx, she said I will call you when I get approval. Of course never called back ( I knew it). Today I got a call for edocs. For $ 75.00 I said that does not pay for ink, paper, gas, and time sorry I can’t do it.
What bothered me is he said there are 1500 notaries in your area would die to take it, (can you believe that) I said don’t let them die just give it to them. Then he said if I don’t do this one they have to take me out of their system. I said please do it because I will never do a signing for that much not now not ever especially edocs.

I was mad. And I can’t believe those who do it.

Yes, it is worth for me. I have navigation system, so I should be fine. The borrower told me to call them if I get lost and they'll come and get me. I was up there the other week. The borrower showed me where Disney filmed The Parent Trap and how they can see Nicolas Cage from their deck.

prices, one hour up and one hour back home, an hour to sign, if you have to be here for 6 p.m. that means traffic.......HMMMMM three hours at least, more like four, gas-one uses more gas driving up.
I didn't think you'd have a struggle finding the location. But once one breaks everything down....to what your actually making.....questionable that's all.

Don't feel bad. I have turned down four jobs today. They just don't want to pay what is reasonable. I read a post that said " I would rather have four that pay what I am worth than a hundred that pay scarcely. I could sit at the pool with my kids or run around with my head cut off." So know I don't even negotiate my fee is XXX.00 and that's it. Remember when month end is here you will be able to up it some to cover if the rest of the month is slow.
