Map, maybe new
I found this beta map from Microsoft while flipping google feathers. I tested it using a recent signing location and found it up to date and accurate. It has a note for an ongoing road construction. The arial (satelite) view is like Google map, but you can zoom in closer with clear view.

We have a new winner. I like it better than Google maps
This map is more detailed, it doesn't print an extra blank page like Google, and did you check out the note feature? If you go under print, then custom, it allows you to add notes to your map and directions, as well as print a larger map. Crap, I HATE Microsoft. But it looks like they actually got this right.

Re: We have a new winner. I like it better than Google maps
I have to wonder what ELSE this adds to Outlook besides maps, as everything else that I have seen that adds itself to Outlook adds some kind of tracking or counting device, also known as malware.
But then I don't use Outlook, as it has many holes in it security-wise.
Beware "free" stuff added to other software, sometimes you have no idea the things it's really doing .........

I like it, thanks. However
it's not completely accurate to call it "live" The pic it has of my house has the van we got rid of last Nov. Other than that, it's very nice.

Re: I like it, thanks. However
They appear to be using GIS mapping, same as Google. For my house, the aerial shot is 7 years old!!

Not new....
It used to be Mapblast. Microsoft bought them out a year ago. They used to be like Mapquest but better. They switched to the "live" thing about 2 months ago. I've been using mapblast for 3 years or so.
