My first signing

I did my 1St signing today and it went rather well. I'd like to thank all you guys and gals that post such informative post. I've read many post and then have done further research. Thank you all again for steering me in the right direction.

Lydia, I was a little shy about posting when I did my first signing. Actually, I was a lurker at the time and read every single post made.

Girlfriend, it pays to read these boards, doesn't it?

I learned more about being a notary sitting at sue's, Paul's, and Sylvia's feet than they ever knew back then...I had always been a notary in a law office and my boss dictated everything, right down to the acks and jurats. I knew my rules and I knew my ID rules but somehow the whole thing really made more sense and became more colorful when I learned from them.

Congrats! I am also new to this and have been doing ALOT of post reading. Were there any places in particular that helped you prepare? I'm a sponge at this point and am trying to make sure I know as much as I can. I look forward to my first signing...
