Re: Networking!I'm going to screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I don't know what has gotten into my of late but I just want to scream at some of the posts, Jennifer nothing personal......I'm sure you are a very nice person. I think it is the assembly line in which notaries continue to be produced... Again Jennifer not saying your new and we were all new including me......

Re: Networking!I'm going to screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I have no idea why I offended you. I am simply tring to help other notaries out there. I work as a notary signing agent and have for quite awhile. I recently had my third baby and I have noticed I am having to turn down alot of jobs in Miami and Palm Beach simply because I don't want to make the drive anymore. Being semi-business savy I simply thought....Networking is the key to any sucessful business, why not kill 2 birds with one stone. I put the email out there knowing that instead of turning jobs down, I could possibly help other notaries and in return end up helping myself. I am sure you know when you work for companies for awhile they trust your judgement if you recommend another signing agent for the job!! I also feel that nobody should ever forget where they started and how they got to where they are. I am confident in my work and myself. I never feel threatned by other notaries so I did not mean to offend you or anybody else out there with this email. Have a good day, Jenn

Re: Networking!I'm going to screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
What is your problem???? If you don't like the posts, why do you feel the need to respond to each and every one? I think networking is a wonderful idea and I think every notary should have a few to cover areas outside their coverage area and send work to each other. What is wrong with that? And furthermore, this message board is for posts exactly like Jennifer's. You don't like networking, you don't like newbie questions, tell me LkArrowhd/CA, what DO you like to see on this board???? Very curious.

Re: Your welcome Jennifer...
This is so true, our children do come first! Thank you. It is too bad we are not in the same area, that would solve our "networking" dilema. Take care got to run.

I think networking is the best way. I turned down alot of
signings because of conflicts. If I had a network it would be great.

Re: I think networking is the best way. I turned down alot
I've been refering calls to a local network that I have been using for about 2 years. I not only refer calls I can't take, but also send a list of the network to TCs that I do business with.

Some people just like to see their name on the posts, why
else would they respond to every post, good or bad and go so far as try to bash one that is perfect for a board such as this one.

Re: Networking! I agree with networking!!
it way more than one way to to help a business to workout. Had I finished the process my son notary friend called my son but he had excepted another signing near his home the second job was 40 miles away from him.
But only 3 miles from me heck I would had loved to pay my son a referral fee. Plus the job he took paid in 30 days his notary friend pay every two weeks ;-)
so yes those meter drops you can save is a good thing!!
I think people should sit back and think if its not a good idea for them its a dang good idea for many others I thought it was a very generous idea and would help the notary business in general as well.
Moreover, I hope I could find someone I could outsource with thank God my son found on person and he pays fast and fairly.

Re: Yes...Andy Johnson yes... ;-) The best!!
((WOW)) I passed with a 73% I was so excited the day before I couldn't get to sleep. I had a early class at 8:30 am Bruce had just explained how the class was going to go and the rules. I kid you not this elderly man did a grand entrance and sat by me. Bruce had his hands full.
He had to deal with this man that was there for entertainment only talking off topic. During the testing I was doing what Bruce told us. The old man kept talking when the lady was giving us instructions about the test. After she finished guess what he kept asking for help with filling out the state information he was on my last nerve.
So I would stop the test while he was asking questions finally he shut up. about 2 minutes later its quiet finally going back to the other questions I needed to consentrate on he holds his pencile high in the air and let if drop on the wooden table then said ((I'm done)) I stopped again and waited for him to leave the classroom. Six hours of class and dealing with a elderly kid ;-) at that point I just wanted and hoped I passed the lady felt sad for me she asked did I want more time I told her I think I'd done enough to pass..sure did ;-)
hair raising...I told Bruce I should had moved on the first break I thought when the testing would start he would shutup I was so wrong ;-)
I had the pleasure talking to Holly to order the blue ink for my stamp. she returned my call right away. She called today to confirm that she received my Cert to mfr and went over my entire order I know for sure I picked the right notary and loan course.
Whenever I need them they always go that extra mile and happy to do business with me so yes this concept is wonderful I checked it out and yes I'll start there at least I know who I'm doing business with and that I can trust.
thank you very much!!
