OT: Nice idea

I just went to get the mail from the mailbox, and there was an American flag stuck in the yard. I looked down the street and every house had one. I looked at the flag, and they were placed there by a realtor, wishing the neighbourhood a Happy 4th.
What a good marketing idea for the realtor.

We have a real estate lady that lives in our sub and she has been doing that every Memorial Day since 1999. Except for the Jehovah witness guy--he had a fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My front deck and back deck, 24-7 comes rain or shine and as soon as the become frayed they are replace with new one......And somebody on my street has gone all out, looks like a political convention stage on his deck but it is eye catching.....

I do hope you are following the rules and customs (http://www.usa-flag-site.org/etiquette.shtml) in accordance with the July 7, 1976 amendment to the Flag Code (Public Law 94-344 http://www.legion.org/pdf/flagcode.pdf) which includes proper illumination if flown during the hours of darkness.

Paw but not until just a few ago, my son the Navy guy informed me....
