OT OT OT - Request for Prayers

Hi all. My cousin's little boy, Evan (2 yrs old) , is going through a rough time.

Recently, he's been running a fever and his legs are hurting him badly enough he does not want to walk. For a little fellow who is extremely active and running everywhere he goes, this is very concerning. The doc has been running blood tests and Evan's mom has reported that thus far the doc is reporting "abnormalities." I don't have any more info than that, but please say a prayer for him to be back up and terrorizing his family again asap.

Sorry for the off-topic prayer request but my family would truly appreciate this as we do believe in the power of prayer and that the act of faith in requesting prayer is often the beginning of healing.

Brenda, Evan will be in my prayers. You know God has a way of working things out. Something to that effect was just on television this week. The same symptons as Evan. If I can remember exactly what caused this I will let you know.

Hi Brenda...I'm sorry to hear about your nephew. I'm not a doctor but the symptoms sounds familiar to me. Hopefully the tests will give the confirmation of what it may be. Hopefully, it will not be anything to worry about. But we will keep him in our prayers.

Brenda your family has my prayers. Hopefully the Dr's will come back with a positive diagnosis. I can't think of a better way to start my morning than a prayer for Evan and family and with many, many prayer's helping out it will provide strength to all.

I talked to Evan's grandmother earlier today. She told me that the tests were still not in but the doc is leaning toward rheumatoid arthritis as a diagnosis. I will update as soon as they let us know. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN...SO MUCH. I really have a lot of positive feelings about this and I believe strongly in the power of these prayers.

Brenda,

What can I say except, "I am so humbled and so touched. Thank you! Thank
you! Thank you!" You have no idea how much it means to have so many people
from all over the country praying for Evan. Wow!

Mom spoke with the doc's office late yesterday afternoon.

Unforunately, not all of the tests have arrived. However, enough tests have
come in that the doc is ruling out a bacterial infection. He thinks
it's probably a viral infection or Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Hopefully, we'll know something on Monday.

We've seen some improvement in the boy. While he doesn't want to walk, he
hasn't had Ibuprofen since yesterday evening and his temperature has only
risen to 100.1 degrees. This is good for him. Also, he seems to just feel
better in general. The prayers are being answered!
