OT - T-shirt slogan of the day

I was *not* okay with dear son's T-shirt this morning when he dropped by this morning. It's a long story why he's wearing this shirt. I mentioned it my concern about it. He agreed! Oh Joy! I produced one of his I had here - a Bourbon Street T-Shirt...an acceptable shirt for him to wear to work on campus with shorts and flip flops, believe it or not...It replaced this:

"Beer Guts and Chili Sluts."

(BG&CS is his chili cookoff team's name. A half naked girl bending over a chili pot which says "Snook, Texas."

Youth!! His *rental* car was towed from his parking place at work on campus last night. He was rear-ended last week and his truck is in the shop. He's got to go across town and get his parking pass go to another place, and another, and then pay the ransome of $141.00 and pick up the rental, return and get his truck.



Wonder if I could wear that shirt to my signing this afternoon?

I did a signing a few weeks ago and the borrower was wearing a t-shirt with a picture of a rooster on it and it said (censored):

Yep, Becca...that's it...showing our age...we know who she was...now she's probably just a nice little suburban grandma somewhere wearing a picture button with a ribbon under it saying, " That's my grandson." and cheering on a T-Ball slugger.

If you mentioned the name of the movie, many would become confused and think we were talking about the one who exposed trouble with Tricky Dick and Watergate.

interview with Linda Lovelace some years back and she was married and living a pretty average life, you know picket fence, kids, etc. etc. etc. yeah I'm an old broad all right......and I cherish each year I've made it through.... How's the yacht? Are you going to be home soon?

We started back north yesterday. We left Miami in a T-storm and it pretty much rained all day until we got north of Ft. Lauderdale. This should explain why I was on the board all day. We just left Lake Boca and are meeting back with our friends in Palm Beach. One of the bridges is out north of Palm Beach so we will hang out at Peanut Island until the bridge opens or the weather clears so we can take the outside route via the Atlantic. You really can't be in a hurry when your sailing.

Yep, they sure do, some even more. That's why we stay "on the hook" most of the time. We are completely self contained. We generate our own electricity have TV, DVD, A/C, ect...all the comforts of home. Next year we'll even have sattelite TV - trac vision. Honey loves his TV.
