My brother in law and his wife were visiting for the 4th, and we all went into the back yard to watch the shuttle. Awesome!!!

I miss living down on the Space Coast!

When we were stationed their we lived in base housing and our house butted up to A1A. No condos on the beach and we had an ocean view. Awesome!
My most favorite were the night launches. That was a site to be seen. We were 18 miles south of the launch site but it lite up our back yard like it was broad daylight. Truly a once in a life time thing. My folks were visiting and my dad still talks about seeing that and how he will never forget it.
