OT the rain

seems to be slowing down my busiest day of the week
I am always slammed on Fridays, but only had one early this afternoon,
and I'm lucky I got to do it (TG,was a piggyback).
Lost the electric for 2 hours, right after I received the e-docs (of course!)
We are under a statewide thundercloud!
No one's out on the streets here in Wrinklewood, except the taxis taking
drinkers to taverns. (Glad I own the only taxi co. in town, LOL)
I am gonna sit on the sofa and watch TV and pig-out on junk food.
Anyone else notice the weather slwoing down your business, or did I just
"luck out" on a rainy Friday night?
Keep your powder dry.........

Misty,

I just went through the worst storm in the Port of Palm Beach. Thank goodness it's over. 45 minutes of pure terror. A sailboat just west of ours lost their anchor and the jib sail unfurled. The boat went screaming past a troller next to us and landed in someones backyard seawall. During this T-storm I managed to book two closings for early next week.

I'm glad my vacation is about over. I'm ready to take it easy again.

Re: OT the rain-Ladies you are both in FL how far apart are

in miles and do you wander in to one another's territory so to speak for work?

Re: OT the rain-LkA

Misty and I are on opposite sides of Florida. Misty is on the West coast and I am on the East. We do not wander into one another's territory, unless she likes three hour drives across the state and I don't know about it. I would happily refer work to her. As a matter of fact, I'm adding Misty to my list as soon as I get home. Don't know why I didn't do it sooner.

Re: OT the rain-LkA

Yep, we are right about across from each other, spanned by about 175-200 miles.
It doesn't seem so far apart by looking at the state, but it is a 3 hour drive-about the same
for me as driving to Miami.
I have also recently added Becca on my referral list, I have a few TC's who often ask for a referral outside my areas, and sometimes her neck of the woods is one of them.
I am approached ALOT about Miami, but Becca, do you go that far south?
If you do, let me know, and if only for a different fee, email me and let me know what it is,
so I don't send callers who can't afford it. I am working with TC's, so the prices I accept are decent, but I accept assignments outside my area if they can afford the increased fees.
If not, I'd be interested in networking with an experienced NSA in that area as well.
Be careful out there, Becca, looks like it's going to be a long wet windy night in FL.
Ok, gals, back to the pizza and chocolate....LOL- YUM!

Re: OT the rain-Misty

Oh geez, here it comes again. I sure hope this round is not as bad as the last.

BTW, I don't go to Dade, but I know a few that do. I'll send you my list IF I make it home. Wink
