Overheard on my phone today...

"Hi Alex, just letting you know that I'm sending you a couple of updated docs for your 10 a.m. appointment." A glance at my watch shows the big hand on the 12, and the little hand on the 11. Umm, a little late, n'est pas?

Same brainiac at 4:30 p.m. "Hi Alex, please fax me a copy of the signed HUD and Note." Umm, you mean from the docs that I dropped off over five hours ago? Good grief.

6 p.m. appointment, docs sent to borrower.
Me calling TC: "Hi, this is Alex. I'm at your signing. There's supposed to be a second loan. It's not here." Her: "Hold please." La la la la la la la "Hi, Alex? There's a 2nd appointment set up for the borrower on 8/7 for the other loan." Borrower says no way, loan is for today, and this is not what my assignment says either. Me: "No, they're both scheduled for today." Her: "Hold please." La la la la la "Hi, Alex? We can e-mail you the 2nd package." Me: "Umm, you don't understand. I'm sitting at the borrowers kitchen table. You can't e-mail me anything right now." Her: "Hold please." La la la la la la "Hi, Alex? Yeah, we're going to e-mail you the 2nd loan right now." Awe for the love of Pete!!!! Sure, just e-mail it to oven. Send a pot roast too, it's been a long day and I'm starving.

Yeah...so what's your point Alex?

Just another day in paradise at the TC.

Hey don't forget that it's those Brainiacs that are taking all the available signings these days....LOL.

All I could think about @ my 5:30 were the beef short ribs I had cooking on the stove. Meanwhile, my 5:30 was a mess...woman screaming in Russian (I think) at her husband then back to English so I could here why their marriage has not and will never work, etc. I felt so bad for that man. I mean his wife took his pants off and smacked his cajones right in front of me. I was mortified, but kept on going. Good God that was the longest signing in my career...1 hour 40 minutes.

My stomach was growling so badly when I left. I made it home just before 8pm. BTW, the short ribs were excellent.

Re: Overheard on my phone today...LOL - Oh yeah

I love the ones who do not vary from their script. I always wonder what it is like at their house.
