Problems with Land America?
Hello everyone, is anyone having problems getting paid Land America One Stop? I haven't been paid for 2 signings I did nearly two months ago. I called to follow up on payment and was told my checks were in the mail. That was 2 weeks ago. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Was this the first two signing you did for LandAM? I had the same problem with them for the first two signings I did. When I called, they said it took a while to get me in their system. Those two signings took about 60 days to get paid, but after that I was in their system and their checks are the fastest I recieved. Completed a signing on 06/20/06 and recieved my check 06/26/06. They always meet my fees and they are one of my favorite companies to work for! Hope this helps.

I didn't realize they were that fast. I do most of my work with them; however, I get paid through the attorneys who take their time and pay 30 days after the signing....sometimes longer

Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't aware of this. I actually just thought they didn't pay & was getting ready to send them a collection letter. Thanks for your input. I was already worried!

I've done a few for LandAm and have never had a problem with payment. They pay nice and quick.

Hi,
Peace offering. I work for OSS. I hope that, if you haven't seen your checks yet, you do soon. Our payment process should be automated and fast once a notary is assigned a vendor ID. So please (anyone reading this) do not be timid about calling us about unpaid invoices. I recommend calling early in the day. It might be as simple as a single piece of information missing from an order to ensure processing. I've had notaries call in and all that was needed was a date or something that someone forgot to type in.
