Querry?
First time I have run across this:
State of Florida
County of Duval
I am a notary public of the State of ________ and my commission expires_______________ THE FOREGOING INSTRUMENT was acknowledged before me on _________________ 2006 by, __________________. who is personally known to me or who has produced drivers license as identification and who didnot take an oath.
Signature________________________ Print Name_______________________ Notary Seal
"did not" take an oath is underlined--- (So far I have only received Mortgagers Aff. and Survey Affidavit with this on- Awaiting remainder of package from TC)
Called TC Closing Department, and they said these were the Lenders Docs, they of course have their documents en-route- but was told that apparently Lender is only requiring copies of Identification now.
Explained what is normally done here- swearing in wise, etc. and always sending back copies of Id's, with loan package.
Was told, to just change it to "did take an oath" which I will do.
But just when you think, "you've seen em all- theirs a micky thrown in" hey?
Simply wondering if anyone else ran across this?

Happy - this cert. states it is an ack. An ack. does not require an oath, a jurat does. (sworn to and subscribe etc.)

Just haven't seen it before- on any documents that I have done- actual wording just surprised me a little.
I have had in the past, the wording given as " has/ has not " taken an oath-- and one is simply crossed out- or left alone- but "did not" was a first for my weary eyes.
Thanks for the feed back- appreciate the input.
Off to see a Borrower.

Happy,
I'm happy to help! Read the certificate, look for the obvious clues and you'll always know what is required.
I remeber a post way back about how a Notary crossed out verbiage like that on a mortgage and a Judge tossed a foreclosure because of it.

Re: Happy,
Judge tossed it out? Wow- goes to show you, how really important it is for a Notary to look for seemingly insignificant wording , and being mindful of details constantly!
Thank you for the input- Brenda Tx and Brenda Fl.
Have a Great weekend!
